With excellent stability, the natural colorant, extracted from annatto seeds, is easy to apply to add or reinforce colors ranging from yellow to red-orange in meat foods, snacks, pasta, dairy sauces, beverages, among others. We offer powdered bixin, powdered and water-soluble norbixin, water-soluble mixtures and oily suspensions in various concentrations.

Verticalized production

In order to obtain annatto colorants with high quality standards, special attention is needed while the seeds are still in the field, ensuring proper handling and processing.

New Max Industrial has verticalized production, with more than 800 hectares of plantations and a production of 1,200 tons of annatto per year. We monitor the entire process of planting, harvesting, drying and processing the seeds, guaranteeing the high quality of the final product.

Annatto oil suspension

Description: Dark orange viscous suspension. Natural dye extracted from annatto seeds, suspended in vegetable oil.
Concentration: Max. 10%
Solubility: Dispersible in oil.
Application: Cheeses, snacks, pasta, bakery products, seasoning mixes, butters and margarines.

Liquid norbixin solution

Description: Dark brown liquid obtained from the annatto seed, providing yellow / orange tones.
Concentration: Max. 10%
Solubility: Soluble in water.
Application: Bakery products, sausages, breads, casings, cereals, cheeses, confectionery, ice cream, snacks and etc.

Bixin powder

Description: Powder with irregularly sized particles of a brownish orange color.
Concentration: Max. 10%
Solubility: Soluble in heated alkaline solution, insoluble in water.
Application: Sausages, cheeses, processed foods, snacks, pasta, bakery products, seasoning mixes, butters and margarines.

Norbixin powder

Description: Dark brown powder obtained from the annatto seed. Provides a yellow/brown hue.
Concentration: Max. 40%
Solubility: Soluble in alkaline solution.
Application: Bakery, confectionery, ice cream, meat, dairy drinks and cheese.

Norbixin water-soluble powder

Description: Orange powder obtained from the annatto seed. Provides a
yellow/brown hue.
Concentration: Max. 15%
Solubility: Dispersible in fats.

Description: Mixture of natural colorants extracted from turmeric and annatto, suspended in vegetable oils.
